I'm going home... I'm at the airport with mum.
3.25, the plane should be getting ready to leave.
Looking forward to be home.
This time, it's weird,
Having mixed feelings,
I want to be home,
Yet, something feels very different.
I pray for a good warm homecoming. =D
To all my friends in west M'sia, I'll be seeing you all very soon, so miss me and call often ya! :P

I was just at this banana leaf rice place in Bangsar. I can't remember the name of the shop, but this is the first time in YEARS I see everyone in a banana leaf rice shop eating with fork and spoon. It's KL lah I guess. :p and yes.. the food is not as nice as when eaten with ye fingers! Hahaha! So.. I've been "Indianized" thanks to John, Vinod, Michelle, and Kana... Hmmmm....

Later that evening, John brought me to one of the best nasi lemak you can think of tasting lah... It's called restoran mana lagi.. This restaurant sells ONLY nasi lemak! The first time I've ever been to such a place... At first, I thought that it would just be some over rated nasi lemak.. coz.. how good can nasi lemak be? I stand corrected... I dun think the pictures here can describe the taste, so it's best if you just hop on Air Asia, get to Johor, and ask the taxi driver to bring you to "Restoran Mana Lagi".
Even a food hunting TV show in Singapore!
Here is how it looks like...
Yummy~!

I still have 2 blog posts sitting in Windows Live Writer.. waiting to be posted.. cause of some weird problem it's encountering, saying that it has problem posting to my blogpost.. So.. keep waiting for that...
Just a little update what has been happening... I was sick yesterday, really sick! Some terrible case of food poisoning, and I was basically vomitting and having diarrhea... =(
Anyhow, praise God that I'm all better now, and I can even sit here and blog! :P

So hor.. I just continue somewhere lah...
So.. that night we went to John's church, and after service, John's dad brought us to go eat lah, at first, the plan is to go eat wild boar and "biawak" lah.. but then tak jadi, so we went to another place lah...
John's church...
Dinner at some place lah.. The "kung pou kai" reali super nice!
John's dad, Uncle Edmund =D
Den after dinner, we went back to ZZzz lah.. Initial plan was to go play DOTA at JB's biggest cyber cafe, but we didn't go lah.. Both of us felt too tired to do anything much, so we went back to sleep.
The next day, we went to watch Quarantine at City Square. This place is so south, and so near to Singapore that the streets have a little feel of Singapore, and there are many many many Singaporeans in this part of Johor. At City Square, I tried this :
"Snow Ice"- Yummulicious ice-cold milk.

On the 26th Dec, we packed everything nicely into John's Wira, and we started the drive to Bukit Jalil, KL. Before reaching Bukit Jalil, we stopped for a little bit of "early breakfast" or "late supper" (whatever is ur preference lah) at MURNI (some sort of "high class" mamak; they practically have every kind of food you can think of, from clay pot lou shi fan, Roti Hawaii, Spaghetti Cabonara)
Then, after putting my things into Abby's place, we drove to Banting. When we reached there, it was about 7 am I think so we all went to sleep till about 2 pm lah... Then we went to a keropok heaven.. I think u can read about this in John's blog lah... And Xiao Qi, being so nice, "chia" all of us to a wonderful mountain of keropok. So, during lunch, we were trying to convince sweet Melissa to come with us to JB, and even called her mum to ask if she could come, but then leh, we failed lah... again, it's in John's blog. SO...
John and I sent Melissa to Subang, and then we went to Jamie's place, parked the car, put things in Jamie's room, and took the train to Pudu Raya. Had some super expensive Nga Pou Kai Fan, BUT it was nice lah! :P
SO hor we took the SS INTERNATIONAL bus to JB after that loh... The bus ride hor, like super long lah.. but talked to John a lot in the bus, and got to know a side of him I never knew. A very good side lah ah. not bad lah.. He's a very good person, loves Jesus... AND so coming back to the story... we reached John's home around.... (kenot rem time) so anyways, met John's mum, and she's a really super cool mum lah! That's all I can describe her. LoL!
Then we slept lah.... till very late the next day... that would be 28th Dec de... ok lah.. that's all i gonna tell for now.. Pictures and more stories in next post! so stay tuned!

Ate Madagascar style;
Sang, Rapped and Screamed,
To the hearts content and more.
Tunes from the east and west
It didn't matter.
Capturing MEMORIES
Treasuring the good times.
Visited the sweet lane in Ipoh
This would be the last time
We hang out together
A little celebratory wine
A bunch of buddies to share with
A small celebration it might have been
A celebration it still is
A prayer of thanks to God
For His everlasting love and faithfulness
And a toast to us, for completing it.
A long journey it has been,
But somehow we made it through
To all my friends, especially those in
ICT and BIS;
CONGRATULATIONS!

I've been having supper quite a bit lately, and this morning, when i got up earlier than usual for breakfast, I felt a little guilty and FAT. For some weird reason lah. but i got up anyways, and went. =)
Today, I went with Vinod, Kana and Melissa to the Tronoh market to have brekkie, and I had some really delicious "pan mee". Sort of flat shaped (i think hand made) noodles. I think i felt guilty coz i ate before I slept, and I got up to go eat, then after that coz still not enough sleep, I slept again till lunch time. So to get my system back in order, I'm gonna skip lunch. =D

Been quite some time since I was last tagged.. this is from John.. and here goes
Part II
1. Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself.
2. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird things/habits/little known facts as well as state the rules clearly.
3. At the end, you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names.
4. No tags back!
so... here goes...

This week has been a strange week for me. I slept, most of it, and I can't remember much of it. I could remember the porridge tho... - The headaches that i had for the last few days have made me feel like time is indeed passing rather quickly. Swallowed panadol, and closed my eyes.. The next thing I know it's evening.
Today I got my darling back. I have yet to put her memory (HDD) back in there but I woke her up a little bit, just to make sure that everything was working fine. The technician told me they changed quite a number of things, which include the motherboard, GPU, and LCD screen. Amazingly, some of the dust that went with her, came back with her. Hmm... but anyhow, it all looks very wonderfully new~! Thanks to mum and dad for paying for the repairs. I really really like it heaps.. so I'm gonna use it for a few more years i think. =)

September came and went like a breeze, now, it's October. I didn't even realize it's another month already. Pre-EDX is just one day away... It will hit me like a train traveling at top speed. The short break had been short - too short. I want more, I feel like I need more. Preparing the software, preparing the posters, finals are coming soon too. What should I do?
The struggle is ongoing, I can only make it with Christ.

I was at the Passion world tour in KL a few months back, and Pastor Louie said something about a video titled Indescribable.
Last week, I had the opportunity to watch it.
I was awestruck.
Speechless, amazed and in awe.

I wished many things today. Must be cause I didn't have much to do today...
I wish that I could finish my FYP instantly. I wished that I could go to bed earlier, and start my days earlier. I wished that I knew God's heart deeply. I wish that I could be home. I wished that phone calls were not so expensive. I wished that it's the end of the year, and she's here with me. I wished that I didn't spend my day just sleeping. I wished that I could find the mail she sent. I wished that I could feel Father walking with me. Haih... Going to do something about it..

It rained suddenly, and I didn't close my window, so my laptop got wet, reali wet I think, by the time I reached my room, it was already dry, but my laptop seem to hold on just enough to say goodbye to me, before i turn it off, and forever, it is off. Still duno what spoilt, and I'm gonna call Dell ASAP to get it fixed.
Praise God that my HDD was still working, so means all data is still safe in my HDD.
Anyways, I'm mourning for my lappie. So sad.. so very sad. Feel like my heart is torn, and scarred forever.

**sATurday Night**
The night before, I didn't sleep, I went to bed at about 4 am in the morning after putting my laundry up to dry. Set 4 alarm times, then took a short moment and prayed that God will wake me up to get ready to leave for the drive down to KL.
**sUNday Morning**
Got up at 8.50, then rushed to get ready to leave UTP. The drive was kinda long lah... John, Melissa and myself kinda got nothing much to talk about after brunch and we started talking about having costume parties in church! Anyways, we made it to KL at around lunch time.
We spent the afternoon, walking around Sunway Pyramid, shopping (window shopping lah), eating, and *pause* Show la pictures of lunch first...
This is what Melissa ordered, Chicken and something Cannelloni
Soft shell crab spaghetti
and Chicken Cannelloni (very creamy pasta)
John going to eat...
John distracted by Melissa
Then poses for the picture
SO... after lunch, we walked around summore, looked for Jack, went to the toilet, and I tried to meet up with the Bethany gang before the conference was a total failure lah. Didn't know where they were, and somehow we were just going different directions
At around 4 pm, people were already lining up waiting to get into the conference hall. By 5 pm, I was there with the Bethany "crowd". So glad to see all of them again. Just had a few minutes of catching up and after taking a few photos and more waiting and sweating, we were running (not running la.. just pushed everyone in front through the gate faster) with the crowd into the conference hall.
*my eyes look super small.. >< (The pic is kinda blur so please dun enlarge.. thanks)
Chia Ming helped us take a few pictures... *Just make sure can see the Passion banner ya..*
Jack and Mark
The place was buzzing with excitement, and I was excited too, but I didn't know about what. I wanted to know what God is going to do in the conference that night. Will it be just another concert, another conference?
After Chris Tomlin lead the first few songs, Louie came up to introduce us to Passion and what they are all about. When he got us to pray in groups of three, I could feel the presence of God so strong in that place, and I knew that God wanted to do something there, that God is going to do something in that conference that night.
The sermon that night was short and it was about grace, what we could not do, God did for us. And also a little part about why we are crazy sometimes, and I mean CRAZY! It really changed my perception about shouting, jumping and praising God in a way that we express ourselves to the ultimate, because God showed us His ULTIMATE love.
The message of God's grace was one that I have heard much, one that I have been very careful around, and last night, I realized the grace for me was as great as the grace He showed to other people. I have always felt inferior, and wanted more attention from God, like I wanted God to highlight me or something like that, but last night I realized that God has already loved me so much, I am already highlighted. I am already in His priority list, just as everyone else is. We are all important, and I feel that until we realize that for ourselves, we will never understand it no matter how many times people tell us.
Ashley's story was one that touched the core of my heart. Sometimes, I feel myself as such a "screw up" and doubt if God can forgive someone like me, or can accept someone like me, or change someone like me? The answer is YES He can, YES He can, YES He can! Ashley's life in Christ might be short in our eyes, but it accounted for much, it made Jesus known, she lived a life that made Jesus famous.
That was our prayer that night, that we would live a life that shines the name of Jesus, that we live a life worthy of Christ.
Isaiah 26:8 -
Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
Yes God, for Your name and renown are the desires of my heart.
In a sentence, I would say the conference was awesome, life changing, heart changing, a reminder of why I go to church every Sunday, why I want to live my life as a Christian.
After the messages, we had more music, praising, and worshipping and praying for the city. God is awesome!
We came, we saw, and we were changed!
Greater things are yet to come, greater things are yet to be done.
God is the God of KL, the God of this nation, Malaysia!

P/S: Jakarta, we are praying for you! May God do in your hearts what he has done in ours...and may you rise up too as a generation for your city and your nation!

I had a chance to be away from everything for a short few days during my trip back home. 7 of us, took a weekend off at the Bako National Park, and we sure did have a blast of a time. Weird, we never took a group photo together outside the boat, but anyways, I just want to share some photos and some of the wonderful time and things I had the chance to experience during the few days there.
All of us, from front left, Shellyn, Emily, Amanda (still shy), Leslie, Angelia, myself and I don't know where in the world Tasha is... Tasha?? Still in da boat a not???

Oh ya.. on the way, we met a few Japanese... Turned out to be professional photographers! Can't show face la.. later I kena sue...
Now, the down part.. we're reaching soon!!!
Yep... soon.. soon.. Just a little while..
Shell: So hungry aaaa.. I eat grass first!
Amanda: ...
Yea!!! we can see the beach liao! Woohoo!! But it's like 30 meters down there!! Since the view is so great.. take pictures first...
Heading down to the beach...
AT LAST!!!
On the way back to the "base camp"
Later that evening... The sunset scenery was amazing!
All thanks to Shell for planning out the trip, getting all of us to go and making it happen! I want to say thanks to everyone else who went that made this trip as fun as it is, made it so special and something I would treasure in my heart. Thank you all! I'll be missing you guys. Till we meet again, continue to love God, serve Him, and be a humble servant wherever you are!
