strange…

I miss staring at my computer screen blankly….

It’s new year!

Three days ago, I had a chance to look back and remind myself of some of the things in 2008. There are many things I want to leave behind and move on from, but there are also a large number of things I’m thankful to God for. He is ever faithful and it’s just amazing how such a GREAT God can love someone so insignificant as myself.

Well, 2008 is done… 2009 has come. Just as a malay saying goes “Let go of that which is bad, keep only what is good”.

It’s going to be another great year! Cheers ~

Sick....

I still have 2 blog posts sitting in Windows Live Writer.. waiting to be posted.. cause of some weird problem it's encountering, saying that it has problem posting to my blogpost.. So.. keep waiting for that...

Just a little update what has been happening... I was sick yesterday, really sick! Some terrible case of food poisoning, and I was basically vomitting and having diarrhea... =(
Anyhow, praise God that I'm all better now, and I can even sit here and blog! :P

oh.. I'm looking forward to go home sometime next week. So glad that at last, I can go back home to some Kuching laksa and "kolo mee"~!

Eating Habbits

I've been having supper quite a bit lately, and this morning, when i got up earlier than usual for breakfast, I felt a little guilty and FAT. For some weird reason lah. but i got up anyways, and went. =)

Today, I went with Vinod, Kana and Melissa to the Tronoh market to have brekkie, and I had some really delicious "pan mee". Sort of flat shaped (i think hand made) noodles. I think i felt guilty coz i ate before I slept, and I got up to go eat, then after that coz still not enough sleep, I slept again till lunch time. So to get my system back in order, I'm gonna skip lunch. =D

Darling is back~

This week has been a strange week for me. I slept, most of it, and I can't remember much of it. I could remember the porridge tho... - The headaches that i had for the last few days have made me feel like time is indeed passing rather quickly. Swallowed panadol, and closed my eyes.. The next thing I know it's evening.

Today I got my darling back. I have yet to put her memory (HDD) back in there but I woke her up a little bit, just to make sure that everything was working fine. The technician told me they changed quite a number of things, which include the motherboard, GPU, and LCD screen. Amazingly, some of the dust that went with her, came back with her. Hmm... but anyhow, it all looks very wonderfully new~! Thanks to mum and dad for paying for the repairs. I really really like it heaps.. so I'm gonna use it for a few more years i think. =)

This week has been rather odd at times because sometimes, i think i'm talking to someone, but then i realize, it's actually someone else on the other side. Hmmmm... Maybe i should sue the internet for not being clear enough with me who I am talking to.. Haha..

Alright, I guess I should get back to my preparation for my oral presentation tomorrow.

Many Wishes

I wished many things today. Must be cause I didn't have much to do today...

I wish that I could finish my FYP instantly. I wished that I could go to bed earlier, and start my days earlier. I wished that I knew God's heart deeply. I wish that I could be home. I wished that phone calls were not so expensive. I wished that it's the end of the year, and she's here with me. I wished that I didn't spend my day just sleeping. I wished that I could find the mail she sent. I wished that I could feel Father walking with me. Haih... Going to do something about it..

Looking Ahead

I'm looking forward to a few things at the end of the year..

1. Finishing my degree studies in UTP
2. Completion of my FYP
3. Banana cake
4. Delicious food
5. A wonderful christmas

There, you missed it!

Time passes so quickly now that I believe we should not even blink if we want to witness everything. Every second that passes cannot be repeated. Cherish every moment that brings a smile to your face, for it's those moments that count.

This Morning

Was wet, cold and super cozy for sleep. I slept through the whole morning! When I got up, I sat there thinking to myself, what am I doing here?

Fast Lane

I've been eating instant noodles for the past few meals. Nothing more than that, and all other instant kind of food. I should get out and have something fresh today!

"Work"

I've been "working" at Bethany, volunteering at the Home. It has been so rewarding, I feel so fulfilled, overjoyed! It's so great not just because I get to meet so many people, but serving God just ultimately fulfilling.

Today is ultimately different. I started off the day drowsy, having very little sleep, I got up to shower and left the house by 8.10. At 9 am, the three of us, Shellyn, Emily and myself met up with Pastor for breakfast at the famous Chong Chun. I had LAKSA and TEH C PENG!

Ultimately, I find myself walking closer to Father. Even though the days are tiring, and sweaty (the office kinda hot laa :p) it is so much fun. I'm on a journey to find myself in Father again. =D Really wish I can just stop studying and just serve here.

Trying too hard

I was driving home just now and the radio was playing the song form The Click Five. I'm not sure of the title but it goes something like "we're trying too hard, but it's empty". I just find this song so true, there are like so many couples out there trying so hard at their relationships, doing things that amount to nothing. So yea... people.. don't waste time on doing things that don't matter in relationships, but do things that matter, like relating to one another, connecting with one another...  :)

This picture was taken in the dark, with no flash, just very dim lights coming from the stage during COP farewell night. The object of the photograph are Stella and Edrea, both holding one camera to film the onstage performance. I thought that it is very interesting to see two people holding up one camera thus, I just held up my camera, set the shutter speed to the slowest but most acceptable speed, held my breath (to keep myself still la!) and snapped! The initial picture was pitch black, but with a layer of filled lights, it turned out to be a work of art. Looks like a painting, but it's not, it has been edited with my amateur Photoshop skills.

Unending

I've been loitering around in my room today. Thoughts running through my head, the music seem to keep me sane. The thought of what is coming ahead - 3 weeks of exams. I fear I will lose my sanity.

 

This semester is a totally gloomy semester. I really want to get out of here quick. Even the thought of being in UTP for another semester makes me feel like it will never end.

I want to go home!!!

Listerine

Yesterday, I proved to myself that the mouthwash - Listerine is really potent. : - As I was having my shower, I saw something black wiggling around near the drain hole of the shower. I couldn't be sure what it was, but I guessed it must be a worm. So I took some Listerine, and poured it on the "worm". I saw it wiggle, wiggle, then after a few moments, the worm stopped moving. After I put on my glasses, I could see that it was a centipede, about 7 - 8 centimeters long, DEAD! So.. if it could kill a centipede, be sure never to swallow your mouthwash, and be sure, be rest assured that when you use Listerine, your mouth is really clean. It is VERY clean!

I want to get a new phone.. Should I get it now? Arrgh... I can't decide. Help me!!!

2 Different Worlds

Penang and Kuching are two different worlds. It's so hot here, I keep gettiing constant headaches, while it's raining everyday in Kuching and places are getting flooded.

Its just too hot to do anything at all.
