Getaway

I had a chance to be away from everything for a short few days during my trip back home. 7 of us, took a weekend off at the Bako National Park, and we sure did have a blast of a time. Weird, we never took a group photo together outside the boat, but anyways, I just want to share some photos and some of the wonderful time and things I had the chance to experience during the few days there.

Barely an hour after checking in, we hiked to another beach, 2 hours away...

Oh ya.. on the way, we met a few Japanese... Turned out to be professional photographers! Can't show face la.. later I kena sue...

Now, the down part.. we're reaching soon!!!

Yea!!! we can see the beach liao! Woohoo!! But it's like 30 meters down there!! Since the view is so great.. take pictures first...

All thanks to Shell for planning out the trip, getting all of us to go and making it happen! I want to say thanks to everyone else who went that made this trip as fun as it is, made it so special and something I would treasure in my heart. Thank you all! I'll be missing you guys. Till we meet again, continue to love God, serve Him, and be a humble servant wherever you are!

This picture was taken in the dark, with no flash, just very dim lights coming from the stage during COP farewell night. The object of the photograph are Stella and Edrea, both holding one camera to film the onstage performance. I thought that it is very interesting to see two people holding up one camera thus, I just held up my camera, set the shutter speed to the slowest but most acceptable speed, held my breath (to keep myself still la!) and snapped! The initial picture was pitch black, but with a layer of filled lights, it turned out to be a work of art. Looks like a painting, but it's not, it has been edited with my amateur Photoshop skills.
