Uni life

Yep, I'm back in UTP already. Moving really kills and preparing for FYP sucks. Choosing a title. Since when is choosing a topic so difficult? I'm most probably going to be doing my project alone and I really hate doing projects alone. I just don't like to do everything by myself. It just totally sucks.

Here I am, blogging at 3 am in the morning, when I have a 10 am lecture which I must attend, and there seems to be clashes. Argh! I just don't like this - beginning of a semester. How I wish I can have things much easier.

Well, I better get it done on the excel and print it out tomorrow.

The Moving

Good bye Penang, hello Tronoh. I traveled in total about 460 KM yesterday and today.

Upon reaching UTP after a brief stop in Ipoh for my speakers and printer from Alan's house, I went straight to V5A, parked my (rented) car and went to get the room keys. I had to wait for almost an hour and after making calls to nearly all my university friends who will be around this semester (looking for housemates) I managed to find myself a house with a few friends.

It's in Block C, level 4 (3rd floor). When I parked my car as close as I could to the block, I looked up and thought to myself "How to bring so many things so high???"

I amazed myself at the amount of things that I carried up to the 3rd floor of our university hostel. It's really exhausting. When I first entered the room, the only thing what went through my mind was - "Crap, the room so dirty and so smelly!! Haiyoh..." Even the switches are stained. The room looked like it's never been cleaned for years. The whole house had a stench, some kind of musky smell. Really very disgisting. I just couldn't stand it, I decided not to spend the night in the room until I get it cleaned up and fresh! After more than an hour of dragging things up to my room, I locked the door, secured it with a pad lock and went off to Gunung Rapat for a night's rest.

The rest house in Gunung Rapat is really cheap, just RM 35 for a room, and in the room, it's air conditioned, has a hot shower and a TV! What more can you ask for at RM 35!

Now, I'm back here in Penang for 1 last night. My room is empty, with just my mattress to sleep on tonight. Tomorrow I'd be in UTP again.

It's over

Today, is a day to remember. A day when I said many thank you's and many good byes. This day is the day when I completed my internship training at Agilent Penang. It has been a totally wonderful eight months in Penang.

There's so much more that I want to say, but I really need to get my packing done. Good bye Penang... I will miss you much, so I definitely will be back for more!

I will miss you for the way you make me feel.

I will miss the fun places like QBM, Perangin, Gurney, Auto City...

I will miss looking at you who is so familiar yet always seem so new.

I will miss you for the way even the simplest food that you cook up seem so special.

This is my last week here in Penang. Now I wish that it will not end so soon. Going back to UTP, I will miss all the wonderful delicious food in Penang!!! Arrrgh!! It's just two hours away.. but.. it's still FAR... Penang hawkers... they are the best weh... I don't even miss food from my hometown... *sob*

It's the end of my internship! No more going to work from 8 am to 5 pm... No more writing programs, no more meeting with people just to have a 30 minute discussion about one issue, no more sneaking out of the office early, no more going out for lunch in all the wonderful eating places in Penang and even getting bored with the wonderful food.... Aaaaa.. I will miss the food here the most!

Going back to studying, is not going to be easy. I just hope that things will really get better in UTP. I hope that it will not be the same as the precious semesters... A better final year in UTP!

Just another day?

Yesterday night, Eilyn was saying that 2008 is just another year, just another day... and we'd be back to work the day after new year's day... Yah.. I guess it's true, but I also feel that it is important to see the new year as a mile stone, something to look forward to, something new!

Well, I'm about to leave Penang, and of course, I can't resist it when Felix invited me to join them at Tao 2 nights ago. I ate, and I ate, and I ate a lot of fishes! The flu didn't stop me from eating my fill of good fish! Hehehe..

Last night.. we went to Pizza Hut to celebrate the new year. Somehow, we managed to get everyone in the picture! haha...

Last but not least, we had a toast to the new year... with something from the down under...
